When you bring your dog to us for grooming, we will handle them with care and respect. We understand that some dogs simply do not enjoy the grooming process, especially if are not groomed regularly or have not had time to build a bond and trust with a groomer. We promise to make every effort to ease your pet’s fears, but in some cases, doing so is not easy. Fulfilling your responsibilities grants a greater likelihood of success.
Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing medical conditions your pet has. Also, let us know of any past negative grooming experiences they may have had. This information allows us to alter the grooming process to make it as stress-free as possible for your pet.
To maintain a healthy coat and skin, we recommend having your dog professionally groomed every four to six weeks. You should brush your pet weekly in between professional grooms. Failure to do so could result in matting in dogs with medium to long-haired coats. Providing basic brushing at home also helps your dog build positive associations with the grooming experience, which can lead to a more pleasant professional grooming experience for both your pet and the groomer.
